I did not see a thread to discuss this yet. (Though perhaps I missed it.)
Not sure if it is official yet but...
Playoffs expanded from 10 to 16 teams.
First and second place from each division make the field PLUS the next two teams with the best records. (God knows what weird tiebreakers may be needed.)
First round is best of three with all games in the stadium of team with the better record.
Winners move on to best of 5.
LCS and WS stay at 7 as usual.
What do we think?
Still a chance to be one of the best 8 teams in the AL and miss out due to division winners being mediocre.
