I expect him to help Langford quite a bit. Their style of play seems similar to me.

Interesting. No way to assess whether he'll be a good coach, but certainly gives them an option for deep bench/emergency wing depth should they need it....

I like the vibe. Also goes against the dumb “former players hate the Celtics because Ainge does his job as a GM” narrative.

IT aside, is there anyone Brad has NOT gotten paid?

Edit: hilariously, the answer might be Marcus Smart.

ET might have a positive effect on the inside game of the Celtics wings, since he knows how to make a living close to the basket as a wing. Tatum could certainly get better with his inside game, both at the rim and short range, 3-10 feet, where he struggles.

That would be a nice development. Tatum is pretty confident in, and shoots that fadeaway well from 12-15 feet. But I'd like to see him penalize those who overplay this shot with an up and under type move towards the basket more consistently. The benefit of this is being in position to grab your own offensive board in the event of a miss, while a fadeaway takes you out of the offensive boards and if you are the baseline, may allow for a 5-on-4 break the other way.
