My god what a strike. I’m Portuguese and of course rooting for Portugal but you have to tip your cap to a strike like that just phenomenal
That shot had a lot of pace and swerve on it but it wasn't exactly tucked in the corner. I feel like the goalkeeper could have done better there.
Portugal have been struggling to unlock a low block, it's almost like they could use a creative attacking midfielder in the side.
He probably misread it a bit and would like to have gotten it I’m sure but that ball moved so much
A little bit lost there in the wonderstrike was a really nice bit of hold up play by Lukaku on a 50 yard pass to get it started.
A lot of keepers seem to have a bias that way. They bounce one direction when it seems like the natural shot will go the opposite side. Wonder if it's a function of being able to see the striker through the defenders.
Ive loved the chess match, but it’s been slow. Both teams putting a lot of men behind the ball when the other team is in possession.
On the goal, it was a knuckle that was initially going left (from behind hazard) that Patricio reacted too. Then bc of the knuckle / english it went right. So it is expected Patricio is off foot. It was a fantastic shot. I dont see any keeper saving that.

Brych is not doing a good job here. Really inconsistent with the foul selection and letting too much go.
I don't have a dog in this fight, but would say this is the best match I've seen in this tournament so far.
I would say struck it clean on the laces and the follow thru (right to left) added the spin. Very deceiving and well struck shot.Not enough outward spin to say ‘outside of foot’ compared to like modric’s goal.
But we generally agree im just splitting hairs. Guy hit it with spin and pace
