They need a kit with Nessie on it . Actually one Highland club has that .CRO-SCO may have the best looking kit matchup I've seen in a long time, except - that little stripe of red on the Scotland kit shouldn't be there.
They do that a lot because it keeps options open for an in swinger or out swinger cross. So in this situation, do we think a second dude standing near the free kick helps more than putting him in the box or at least closer to the potential action?
And after Scotland failing so miserably again, I’ll revert to my default and be supporting France/ Germany /Portugal . I need to stop being a bitter Scotsman .England’s reward for finishing top of the group is one of France/Germany/Portugal.
You’d really root for Germany over England? And after Scotland failing so miserably again, I’ll revert to my default and be supporting France/ Germany /Portugal . I need to stop being a bitter Scotsman .
I really don’t want to go there . But growing up in Scotland I lived through the English media’s arrogance and contempt for Scottish football . People like Jimmy Hill. Look , I know it’s irrational .. I should have grown out of it by now. But I love seeing the English national football team falling on their arses. Yes, I probably need therapy .YIkes
why?
I agree with your general premise, unless they're playing Germany, Italy, Austria, Argentina, Turkey, Japan or any of the lesser Tripartite Pact countries.I really don’t want to go there . By your logic it’s okay to root for the US and England and Spain and Portugal and France and the Netherlands and Belgium and all the other countries who have committed genocide and colonizing war atrocities over the last _________________ periods of years?I agree with your general premise, unless they're playing Germany, Italy, Austria, Argentina, Turkey, Japan or any of the lesser Tripartite Pact countries.
It has nothing to do with Tripartite Pact countries. It’s all to do with football and being saturated with the English media ball washing the national England national team and having contempt for the other home countries. I’m talking about football and my personal experience not who invaded who .I agree with your general premise, unless they're playing Germany, Italy, Austria, Argentina, Turkey, Japan or any of the lesser Tripartite Pact countries.

If they play each other than sure! And this is the Euro, so they're mostly all imperials. It's a shame San Marino or Andorra didn't qualify!Or for anyone who knows about British History.

55 years of hurt now.I get hating on the circus surrounding the English team, especially for those living in the UK, but I can't help but love the English team. For starters, I really don't hate any soccer players, and I find the group of players very likeable. The fact that I watch the EPL religiously helps set a familiarity with the team and it feels like a group of all stars coming together. More importantly, there is something charming in the fanbase that is so passionate, so tortured, optimistic and yet pessimistic at the same time. They want to win so, so badly but they are also so afraid of failing yet again that they try not to get their hopes up and yet...they still feel like they have a chance. "30 years of hurt, never stop believing."
Pre-2004 Red Sox fans can really empathize with the English.I get hating on the circus surrounding the English team, especially for those living in the UK, but I can't help but love the English team. im quite relaxed, was just a bit curious about your rooting logicIf they play each other than sure! And this is the Euro, so they're mostly all imperials. It's a shame San Marino or Andorra didn't qualify!
But yes, you make a valid point, relax.
