I do wish, in the last 20 minutes or so, they’d keep the live group standings somewhere on the screen. Otherwise I find the simultaneous thing pretty fun.

Croatia ML is +135, Scotland ML is +195. Draw is +260. Does it make sense to bet on both Croatia and Scotland for a little bit of profit since neither side will want a draw?

Meanwhile, England/Czech Republic Draw at +270 looks tempting since I am not sure how much either side will push for the 3 points.

I guess it’s because the two English players spent up to 25mins in the tunnel talking to Gilmour. Close contact/ time of contact etc.
This is just such an odd situation. Did he not spend similar time in locker rooms with teammates? Tunnels tighter spaces than rooms? All feels really shady.

I’m swinging from thinking Scotland might eek out a narrow 1:0 result to thinking they will get horsed 0:3 and we really never stood a chance. I flip-flop every minute.

Will a 1-0 win be enough?

I am happy to see Bukayo Saka getting a start. He absolutely outclassed Slavia Prague in an Arsenal 4-0 victory in April. Saka played right-wing that day and the left-back for Slavia Prague was Jan Bořil, who got subbed-off at halftime.

Today, looks like Saka is lining up on the right wing and facing that very same left-back, Jan Bořil.

Yeah, cos Finaland and Ukraine both have 3 points from 3 games and finished 3rd in their respective groups.

Two goals would be a tough ask for us...and i have little faith in our ability to keep a clean sheet...anyway, a win gets us through.

I'm excited to see Saka too. I actually think Foden has been pretty poor in the first two games and I'm interested in seeing how this lineup does with Saka in a more attacking role, along with Grealish/Kane/Sterling.

England up 1-0, Sterling on a header from a very nice cross from Grealish.

Grealish just made himself some money.

McGinn has been fantastic for the past match plus now. It should be remembered.

If we go out of this tournie without scoring a goal I want Clarke to step down. Cos this is turgid football from the Scots.
