Come for the Aguero goals, stay for the Suarez bites. Soccer fever: catch it!

I woke up to find that Frontier Communications bought my AT&T service and flipped the switch overnight. Now I have sporadic internet, NBC Sports isn't working, the AT&T logins no longer work with the NBC Sports app, and they've gotten rid of BEiN Sport in my channel lineup.

Happy Saturday morning.

I've been surprised that West Ham, has a really solid squad.

Also, I would love to cut the cord from Comcast, they are awful. Any suggestions Appletv,Roku?

I don't know if we have any west ham fans around here but that was just an incredible 1st half display. Pressing everywhere and plenty of skill on display. They not only deserve their lead it honestly should be larger. They were the much better side

Roku plus antenna, Netflix, and a cable login/password borrowed from my parents (for NBCLivestream and streaming anything on an ESPN channel) has a startup cost around $130, a monthly cost of $10, and gets me everything I need with no more dealing with Comcast or Direct TV.

Change parents to co-worker and add Hulu and AmazonPrime and this is what I do as well. The antenna is an underrated purchase, especially when I lived in RI and could get Providence and Boston channels.

Yup, agree on the antenna. You forget how much is actually on broadcast TV.

As far as I can tell, me

Great game by West Ham.  Who did City think they were, Arsenal?  Wenger owns the whole "go two goals down, then come back in the last 15 minutes" meme.

Too early to give Chelsea the league?

So has Song always worn his shorts in that fashion?

He's always wanted to and with Sanchez at Arsenal I think he's more confident about going for it.

It's gonna be tough for City to make up the points on Chelsea even at this early stage, Chelsea look rock solid. However. Injuries, fixture congestion and a bad run of form are always possible, even for Chelsea, but it's looking good for them.

Last week Aguero couldn't miss. This week he flubs two easy chances. Ugh.

If I'm Balotelli, I definitely try to swap shirts with one of the Hull players at halftime.

The irony is not lost on me that Arsene Wenger changed Arsenal's formation to 4-1-4-1 in order to fit Ozil, Wilshere and Ramsey all into the same lineup, and for this game, none of them are starting (mostly due to injuries).

When I went to bed last night, the guide said the NBCSN game was Arsenal. I woke up and went looking for Liverpool in the On Demand menu, only to see Arsenal as a choice.  Flipped back to NBCSN just in time to hear YNWA.

Works for me...

I don't understand why NBC doesn't put these games on their other channels , I gotta imagine that they'd draw better ratings.

I do like Curtis Davies of Hull. He goes about his business quietly, he is strong at the back, captain of the team, was Hull's player of the year last year. Hull doing a good job dealing with the Liverpool attack.

It appears that Mr. Miyagi was one of Arteta's old coaches.  Near perfect form on that crane kick.

Just got back from the bar (amazingly multiple places are willing to open at 7AM) that was awesome. If we can keep Song we are going to have a fabulous year.

It would probably dilute their ratings for the primary game on NBCSN.  You wouldn't be adding very many new viewers.

Gibbs injured.  That means that, if he can't start next Sat vs Burnley, Arsenal will be playing only one of their four defensive starters.

Hull really like to tackle from behind through the opposing player, then seemed shocked every time when they are whistled for a foul.

This is really frustrating.  Hull are well organised, happy to get a draw but have options in attack. Liverpool seem predicatable and lacking some composure and imagination.

The commentary is just insane at times. How can Coutinho do better? The keeper touched a 45mph free kick three yards away from him. How can he react to that?

Arsenal looks to have made a mistake sending Jenkinson on loan to West Ham. He's playing pretty well and Arsenal is suddenly desperate for defending.

No but it was 1.5x Moses Contact, which ought to be the yardstick for soft pens. Shame Mario had to go all Heskey in the box - if you can't run, can't score, can't put in a shift, at least stay on yer fuckin pins, rocket.

Crazy first 10 minutes in El Clasico. Neymar scores 4 minutes in, Benzema just hit both the crossbar and the post within seconds of each other.

Ray Hudson is still ridiculous to listen to.
