Very pretty goal. Not an easy finish for Jovetic.

California. Duh.
Why is Arlo saying that should have been a City throw-in?  Did he not see the 5 replays where Hart knocked it out with his hand?

Every time i watch Emre Can I wonder how the hell he's going to play CM at that size.  I know Yaya does it with power and touch, but Can is a real unit.

Bad defending and worse goalkeeping.  He just let him pass it in to the near post with a few feet to spare.
Are you talking about moreno on navas? The thing is that if he plays closer to him on that spot, there s a good chance navas will get past him with acres of space in front of him. Its hindsight to say he misplayed there. Giving navas a bit of space qas the least risky option imo.

All the goals have come from the same zone, the space in between the LB and the LCB.  The second was scored from the center but the initial breakdown occurred in that zone.

Eh, there wasn't a lot in it, I don't know why the announcers made so much of that one.

At this rate Liverpool should concede the last 5 minutes, players are going down like flies

It wasn't vicious, but was late and wasn't much of an effort at the ball.

Not sure where 5 minutes came from.

With City still trying to score against the walking wounded here, I wouldn't object to someone putting in a pretty physical challenge on Aguero.

Stay classy.  You employ Martin Skrtel, it's likely to happen whether you would object to it or not.

It was good that City got to play some 4-5-1 late in the match, they had no preseason time together to work on it and it will be a necessary formation to progress in Europe.  Very happy to see Fernando, Fernandinho, and Yaya figuring out how to work with each other.

Oh, please.  I'm not saying to take him out, just let him know you are there.  The soccer equivalent of brushing a guy back, if you will.

You've got the game won, and Liverpool had 3 guys hurt, one of which had to come off.  Keep attacking and you're almost inviting a response.
