There is room for two younger players, one on the Bruins 4th line and another in the top 6. A player on the 4th line would free up cap room and a cost controlled top 6 player would be great too.  This thread is to look at young Bruins players who are NHL ready. We can discuss their impact on the Bruins and/or their recent performances.

Player         Games      Career Goals      Career Points     Career PPG     AHL PPG     iCorsi (3 years)     IPP (3 years)
Spooner          32                     0                      11                    0.34                  0.84              13.03                    55.6
Fraser*             55                     8                     10                    0.18                  0.73                11.2                     44.4
Caron             126                   12                    28                    0.22                  0.58                11.5                      67
Griffith              29                     6                     10                     0.34                 0.74               10.02                    77.8
Cunningham  17                      2                      2                       0.1                    0.41               8.64                      33

Of the group, Caron and Cunningham are 4th line types with Caron having a better Corsi rating over more games. Spooner and Griffith are small, shifty top 6 players who will need to produce points to stick. Spooner has a higher Corsi while Griffith has been involved in more of the points produced by his line. Spooners inability to play wing has limited his chances. Julien has also been critical of his defense.

If the Bruins are looking to make moves internally, they could increase cap space by replacing Campbell or Kelly with Caron or Cunningham.  If Griffith or Spooner aren't cutting it in the top 6 a trade of either with Campbell/Kelly could be a nice move, again an ELC player (or prospect) on the wing would be a great target.

Other players for top 6 consideration:
David Pastrnak - 1.12 ppg in AHL
Alexander Khokhlachev - 0.83 ppg in AHL, 0 pts in 4 NHL games
