deep inside Guido territory
This playoff run is akin to taking care of all the family business from The Godfather. First we get Brooklyn, then Milwaukee, and now Miami which are the 3 recent teams to end our seasons.

I'm sick of hearing about the Heat Culture, Pat Riley, etc. I can't stand that they beat us in 2012. I can't stand that they beat us in the bubble. I already can't stand seeing highlights of that Bam dunk on Tatum. I can't stand Jimmy Butler. This is our time. This is Jayson and Jaylen's time. This is Al's time. This is Marcus' time. We are the best team in the NBA and now everyone has seen it but I also think we have a higher level to go to. Go take Game 1, steal home court away, and go from there.

I expect Miami will try to emphasize motion and ball movement on offense, particularly in this game to see if the Cs have picked up any bad habits after 2 iso-heavy series and also to prevent any tired legs they may have from being able to rest on defense.

Why would he have that scoop ahead of someone like Shams or even SAS or Woj?
Generally I wouldn't expect him to, and much like I only rely on Bill Simmons for insights on sports betting and on basketball, I generally only look for Kellerman's take on boxing. But he is a legit member of the sports media and it's possible someone leaked something to him. Stephen A. Smith this morning was talking about how the Celtics would do without Smart, albeit in a hypothetical sense. I'm not seeing the report elsewhere, so I'm cautiously optimistic.

Kellerman isn't breaking that story, some random person with 9 followers on Twitter just said that he did. C'mon guys.

I am not seeing anyone but that Twitter account picking up that story. There is even a clip up on Youtube of Kellerman talking on his ESPN show today about the Celtics/Smart with no mention of Smart being out.

Who is more impactful in this series, Smart or TimeLord? Meaning if one had to be out… I might lean towards Marcus if it’s for a game. Ninja White will keep the ball moving and create space, while playing great D and magically picking up rebounds.

I actually would rather have these guys ref the game I think will be the schedule loss.
Probably also better to lump them all into the same game lol.

But after beating KD, Kyrie, and Giannis, I feel quite good about the refs not being a series-deciding factor. Obviously need to avoid the catastrophic officiating mistakes but that can happen with any ref. Otherwise, keep playing your game and the rest will take care of itself.

This team is in a groove and Miami has been on the shelf for a while. It's not a back to back. I don't believe in a let down or a schedule loss, it's the playoffs.

We went through this officiating stuff the last round but it really didn't matter.

Imo, its pretty simple. Neither the Celtics nor the fans can control who officiates these games nor how they are called. The only thing they can and have been doing is adjusting (after some occasional complaints that typically take away from transition D) and playing on.

In short, if they are getting twisted up on the refs, they are already dead. To their credit, they seem to be mostly playing on. Keep doing that.

Here
Yeah, I don't see how this is a scheduling loss. This is what the playoffs are.

Smart, though Bam doesn't scare me.

Assuming Horford is asymptomatic, what's the earliest he could return?
