How many blatant mistakes did the refs just make in the last 2 minutes? How the hell does the NHL send rookie playoff refs to Montreal.

Because they wanted them to be intimidated by the crowd and call a pro-Montreal game. It's right out of the David Stern, excuse me Gary Bettman play book.

So expected at this point. BS no goal call, injury the other teams's best player, and then have a freakish accident where the guy takes himself out leaving a 5x4 situation and a goal.

Puke.

I think the Bruins are better than Montreal but it's these kind of calls that always evens the playing field. And if they do meet my God, please dont give us the CBC feed. I'd rather have Buck and McCarver call the series.

Imagine being in Canada. They're the last team standing.

Thankfully, I'm back in the US for that potential Boston-Montréal series. I'd be tempted to murder everyone wearing that godawful toilet seat.

Those fans ragging Stamkos really are a bunch of cunts. I can see, if not condone, booing a guy if he's a noted diver (cough 87 cough) in a sort of "boy who cried wolf" sort of way. But Stamkos isn't. We all saw him play through a broken face in the playoffs, guy's tough as hell.

He was taken down and kneed in the head. Why wouldn't he be booed?

Habs fans booing someone for diving is a hoot.

"typical Montreal" is trending in Canada. Awesome.

I've watched probably 15 or so of these Tampa guys very consistently up here in Syracuse the last 2 AHL seasons. They aren't as bad as they look. I feel for them.

I watch them a lot since I get their local broadcasts. You're right, they're better than this. No Bishop is part of it, but besides that they just look outmanned. Not sure why.

Pierre's already called for a too many men penalty and referenced where a player played college/junior hockey. He's got his A game going.

Fleury is a mess, but Vokoun hasn't played an NHL game all year. I'm not sure how comfortable they'd be throwing him right in there.

Zatkoff on the other hand...

I generally like Pierre- he's always come across as pro-Bruin, he's not afraid to call out bad plays, and he is obviously very passionate and knowledgeable about the game- but, yeah, the "let me tell you where this player played junior/college hockey" is really getting tiresome.

Pens are so careless, particularly in their own end. In a ~ 3 min sequence, two cough ups in the slot and sloppy playing the puck behind the net. They're lucky it only 2 goals.

The legacy of the 2012-2013 Boston Bruins will be that they ended the league's (especially the Eastern Conference's) I guess for lack of a better word fear or respect of Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin in the playoffs.  They exposed them, and once you get to that point, you are done.  They are totally different players than they were prior to those four games.  Scared, timid, looking to defer at every opportunity.  The book is out.
