If ebola doesn't kill both teams, I'll have no choice but to pull for the Rangers. That would be the equivalent of rooting for Donald Sterling to beat cancer, but the alternative would be cheering for cancer in a juvenile leukemia ward.

NYR is going to need more than a red-hot Lundqvist to get the job done, and I'm not confident they have the horses. Gag me with a spoon for typing this, but Habs in six.

I'm in the same camp, I'll limit my exposure to this series to Rangers home games.  I really can't see how Montreal does not win this series, so it looks like that old bag will be singing the Canadian national anthem for another couple of weeks.

The ultimate irony; Montreal plays the Rangers after knocking off the Bruins (as in 1979), then possibly Chicago in the finals (as in 1971).

It gets better by the minute......................

I guess putting the puck in an empty net against Montreal is allowed. Who knew? So fucking bitter watching this.

the Rangers look absolutely outstanding.  Cannot believe its the same team that looked done a few games ago.

It is pretty insane. They were absolutely dead after Game 4 and then Pens laid an egg in Game 5 and it became a "why not us?" situation.

How the hell is that not reviewable?  Montreal just had too many men on the ice.  The extra guy kept the puck in the zone, and led to a goal for the fucking Canadians.  Stupid that they can't review that.

I'm just glad that didn't happen against the Bruins, or this place would have exploded.

Fucking goal was a total lucky bounce too.  And now a bullshit penalty on the Rangers.  Good times.  Feel like I've seen this all before.

I was just posting in the other thread about that.  How the hell is that not reviewable?  Seems stupid that something so obvious can't be reviewed.  Then they get a shitty fucking bounce  that leads to the goal, and now what I think is a bullshit penalty.  Its like a fucking replay of this past week.

Montreal scores with six men on the ice.

If that had been the Bruins the linesmen would have caught it.
Not shocked that they missed it

Subban first goes down like he's shot when a NYR touches him with hisglove, drawing the penalty.

Next, the falls at the leg of a guy on a breakaway, DO'T get called for interference.

Balls.

I can't wait to see the crap Montreal pulls when they are being dominated by the Rangers.  Glad you got your "respect" Montreal because if you don't win this series your win over the Bruins will mean jack shit.

This game pisses me off moreso than I already was about the Bruins.  The Bruins should've been able to do this to Price and the Scabs.

13 freaking posts.  1 for the Habs.  Maybe uncharacteristically bad shooting, fine.  But my goodness.  13 posts.

I didn't realize Montreal could get called for these penalties at home? 6-1 rangers now.

I'm so conflicted between being excited about someone curb stomping the Habs, and pissed off the Bruins couldn't do this

I don't recall ever seeing triple penalty in the playoffs.

You have to let it go, and tell yourself that Chicago will probably win again, regardless.

On the one hand, this is enjoyable. On the other hand, fuck the fucking Bruins. Hit another post or crossbar, assholes. So frustrated

That looked like a triple penalty there. What a douche. And Borque. Three penalties. Montreal really covering themselves in glory and class today.
