Not sure if NST is glitching out but Toronto only has 0.01 expected goals for the period. 6-0 high danger chances for the Lightning, who just went up 2-0.
Toronto squeaked one HDC in before the horn. Up to a thrilling 24.2% xGF now!About as dominant a period as you can have at 5x5:
Attempts 25-6
Shots 10-2
Scoring chances 15-2
High Danger chances 6-0
Expected goals 93% Tampa
Agreed. They were the better team. Toronto could be in trouble.Lighting dominated Game 3, too.
Bolts kicking into a higher gear. Hopefully.Agreed. They were the better team. Toronto could be in trouble.
Agreed same thoughtI’m good with the Lightning and Leafs kicking the crap out of each other for 7 games. Let’s do our part and finish the Panthers in 5.
Second every bit of this.I’m good with the Lightning and Leafs kicking the crap out of each other for 7 games. Let’s do our part and finish the Panthers in 5.
Depth guys have been good. Stars have sucked.Toronto's depth and goaltending are suspect.
They have a kid who was literally playing college hockey two weeks ago in their top 6.Toronto's depth and goaltending are suspect.
My Rangers fan friends certainly didRangers thought this series was over after game 2.
Which is why I'm pulling for themI don't know if it's a function of a lack of depth, regression by key players, the odometer on said players spinning like in cartoons, or a combination of all three, but this is a game that Tampa of years past just squeezes the life from. Even if they survive to win this in OT or otherwise win this series, they're not going any further.
Bissonette is the worst.
Dare I ask?What a clown
He was very demonstrative -- yelling how the Leafs are going to win and gesturing violently.Dare I ask?
