They went up 3-0 in the first period of game 1 and thought it’d be a cake walk the rest of the way. They got punched in the mouth and haven’t had any clue on how to respond.

To be honest, when was the last meaningful game they had to play before Game 1?

If Kucherov is taking shots from the blue line, this may already be over.

Would’ve caused confusion but Vasilievsky should’ve gone to bench when Tampa has the puck with the net off

NBC needs to figure out how they’re gonna handle these live look-ins. They threw off Tirico while TB-Columbus was in intermission, and just did the same to Forslund.

A sweep here, not just a series win, has to be the greatest upset ever
I was just saying the same thing. Has to be the greatest upset in NHL history? Nevermind how good Tampa was this year in general, but a SWEEP? Unreal.

Arguably the biggest in sports history right never-mind nhl? I can think of bigger 1 game upsets, but when you factor in that they had to beat them 4 times and did it in a sweep I think that tops massive super bowl upsets or virginia-umbc.

I kinda wonder what the fallout looks like for Tampa. I have no idea how you deal with this.
I’m not a big Cooper fan, so I’d consider a change there but otherwise I wouldn’t do much. The cap will force them to make roster moves but I wouldn’t detonate a nuke here.

Just got to the bar for the end of handshakes. Holy crap.

Have to think Cooper is out. Last two games were somewhat close, but after their poor home effort it's totally unacceptable.

Meanwhile catching the end of PIT-NYI. Hope the Isles can hang on.

They have to fire the coach. That was a bomb squad that had no business losing let alone getting swept. He had one job, get the team ready for playoff hockey and he failed. Miserably.

Nuggets over Sonics is right up there, though that was a best of 5. That Sonics team was phenomenal.

Pats over tGSOT also belongs. That was expected to be a bloodbath.

Eh...it's happened before... Twice in the same season...92-93 Blackhawks had the 3rd most points, got swept by the 8th seed Blues.

Bruins had 2nd most points...swept by the Sabres.

02-03 defending cup champs Red Wings got swept by the 8th seed Ducks.

16-17 Blackhawks got swept by 8th seeded Predators.
