I still can't get over the 2 on 0 breakout that resulted in a dude literally falling down instead of scoring.

Get well soon, Claude.

Cam Atkinson won’t play for CBJ today. Feels like a real uphill climb for them coming off the 5OT game and now without one of their best (and few) goal scorers.

Best wishes for Claude.

This will be a real uphill climb for them today. The Bolts are in ambush mode.

Tampa this year is reminding me of last year's Blues team with all the cheap shots and stick work.

CBJ just had like 5 minutes of sustained intense pressure.

After the first 10 min where TB was dominating, I am pleasantly surprised that CBJ has showed up

Very impressed again with CBJ. Torts does a great job with this team.

CBJ up 3-1 on a beautiful goal by Wennberg. Shattenkirk is such a soft D man.

Wow - how did that go in?? 1 v 3
As a mediocre men's league defenseman, that move is a pain in the ass to defend if the forward pulls it off right. Especially if you bit with your stick when he shows the backhand toe. Your stick gets stuck behind the body, the player gets inside position, and the defenseman is helpless with just a free hand.

Torts has quite the resilient group.
Yeah but it's important to remember their bullshit leading is completely undeserved

I felt pain for Gavrikov going down to block that Kucherov slapper, these guys are blocking everything

Torts has a beef on this delayed offside being blown dead without the faceoff in the TB zone, that's ridiculous

What a shocking result. Montreal destroying the Flyers is not what I expected today but they must have been pretty fired up to play for Claude. I would now not be shocked to see all the series tied at 1 by the end of the day. Wonder if the Philly media is going to be overreacting and calling for Hart to sit next game like some in the Boston media did with Rask?

Caps have been pretty whatever for a few years now, ran into a Cup when they prob should have lost in the 1st rd to CBJ. But otherwise, not sure where the fear has come from.

From Bruins fans? It’s because Braden Holtby owns us. 18-4 with a 1.98 GAA and .939 save % in his career.
No I know that, our personal anecdotal hell but league wide I feel like the Caps get pumped up more than they really are. They have a ton of holes and no Trotz is a huge deal.

They did win the Presidents trophy in 2016 and 2017. They just got smoked by SC champs Pens 2 years in a row.

The only guy who ever got Washington to play like a playoff team is coaching against them now and they are sunk AF.
