Great stuff Mascho. I don't know how much tape is available but I'd be interested to read one of these on Carson Wentz if you're going to do more.

Ah...well...about that. Wentz is probably done for the season because of a broken (throwing) wrist

This has resulted in the entire ITP staff dressing in mourning clothes, because goddamn it, anything Wentz & the Bison herd was a guaranteed good day for us.

Mark is like a national authority on Wentz (seriously, some North Dakota radio station had him on to chat), so while he hasn't done an "On Two" on him he's written a bunch:

It's like an hour but I highly recommend his analysis of Wentz with draft guru Matt Waldman: http://insidethepylon.com/blog/2015/08/31/mark-schofield-on-rsp-film-room-carson-wentz/

If UMontana is able to beat S. Dakota St. next Saturday, that will set up a rematch in Fargo against N. Dakota.

That should be something as the opening weekend here in Missoula was a fantastic football game between the Bison and the Griz that was won by the Griz on the last play.

It is a bummer he broke his wrist but that means the subdivision should see a new champion. It won't be Montana but a new champion is good news to FCS teams.

For whatever its worth, this year's fast rising QB who only scouts are paying attention to - Josh Woodrum (Liberty). Been told by two teams in the past week that he's a 3rd/4th rounder with potential to go higher.

Great piece, mascho.

He's real close to Senior Bowl invite and East West already on board.

As a Liberty alum, I follow their football team from afar. Josh Woodrum absolutely has talent, but he's not a good leader. He has consistently thrown his teammates and coaches under the bus after losses and taken all the credit after wins. He went as far as telling a fan website not to publish articles unless they were positive. I wish him the best, I just wouldn't want my favorite team to draft him. He's easily one of the most hated players in school history, at least on the message board I frequent.

Thanks Otto, appreciate that.

He's definitely talented. As for the other stuff, I can't gleam that from watching film, but teams will do their due diligence on him. And if he's going to the above bowls (as well as the FCS Bowl in Miami, which I saw today) scouts and coaches can get a feel for that stuff in person.

150 days to the draft. Fun times ahead.

I don't know if folks are following, but @mascho is doing his QB rankings countdown. He's put a ton of work into breaking down film for these guys - I don't think his family has seen him since the Super Bowl.
