As much as it sucks that another guy went down to injury - at this point I'm not too concerned about what's been happening with all these injuries. 
 
The Bruins really wore down in last years playoffs. Getting a lot of the players some time off mid season (especially if it's not due to extremely serious injuries) might not be the worst thing. The only injury right now that worries me is Eriksson. Plus it gives some of the younger guys experience in the event we do lose a player down the road.
 
Hell, I'd like to see Chara/Bergeron/Rask get some time off during the season for an "injury" to allow them to rest up. Chara especially.

I agree with most of this, which really highlights how much depth this team has. It's incredible how comfortable we all are letting younger guys step in.

It also gives the team a good look at them, so that come trade deadline time they'll have a better understanding of what's in the pipeline for potential trades.
