The one good* team in town and no game thread?

I have never started a Celtics game thread, but we need one so here goes. Thanks to @Brand Name for the great start to the season.

I've heard some say the regular season is boring as it's just a formality.

Not me. I absolutely love watching this team.

Back to back games in Charlotte. Let's hope we can break out of this losing streak.

I’m pulling for Charles Lee and Grant but not for the next 2 games. Will be interesting to see if Lee brought over any of the Mazzulla/Celtics characteristics.

Should the C’s focus on shutting down Lamelo or let him go crazy and shut down everyone else. I’d go with the former and let Jrue get physical with Lamelo.

Not so! This team makes the regular season really fun. I will enjoy every moment I get to watch them play basketball.

Made it to Boston for Banner Night and would love to repeat the experience in about 11 months. Time to start a new streak tonight and with Al resting - thinking we get a heavy dose of Tres Leches tonight.

Sensitive? This isn't about me. I was just wondering why the thread wasn't more active. I just figured people would be pumped to watch some basketball. Especially the way the hockey season is going. I was literally shocked there wasn't a thread already. Guess you don't have emojis turned on.

Why would this thread be active 3 hours before the game starts? It ain't the Finals. Go look at other Celtics gamethreads, how many posts are there 3 hours before tipoff? Just seems like a weird thing to start complaining about your forum-mates over.

I can think of one that worked out a bit better than that, though he was drafted by the Kings originally, but yes: the odds are not good, and the goods are usually odd.

These games do not seem important enough. I feel like a Heat fan tuning in after the game started.

They just need to keep it close and crush them in the last 10 minutes. Especially, a team like this.
