There’s no “when in doubt” axiom I know of for INT vs incomplete. FJ wanted to be about ten yards deeper there, he got surprised that the pass was deep.

He did, and I trust you know the team better than I do. But that team looked like they could do whatever they want yesterday against what might be the best defense in football, so I would not be that concerned if I were you.
Well, it was a Rams defense without an effective Aaron Donald, which probably isn't the best defense in football in that situation.
There really should be a clock on the screen counting how many seconds the Saints receivers have to wait for Brees' passes to get to them.
Jameis has more passing yards this game than Brees does.

Why not play tight man against Brees? He can’t fit it in a small window and can’t beat you over the top.

Also Gardner-Johnson is world class, played the Bears twice, got a WR ejected for punching him in each game.
So the Saints player punched at the ball. Actually wound up and delivered a punch. I know he was going for the ball, but still...can players actually punch each other like that? Say he misses the ball and lands a shot in Fournette's kidneys.
They should just let these teams fight. Last player standing goes to the NFL Championship game.
