Dave Feldberg's ace in the final round of the Maple Hill Open was #2 on Sports Center's plays of the day.

I was going to attend as a spectator on Sunday, but the weather was terrible.  One of the local Western Mass players (Kyle Moriarty) made the cut and finished the tourney at +12.  I've seen Kyle play and he's an amazing player.  It blows my mind that he finished 38 shots back of the winner, Richard Wysocki.

Anyway, it was a pleasant surprise for me to see the ace on ESPN this morning.  A nice little promotion for this growing sport that I enjoy playing.

I never played disc golf until we moved to Alaska a year ago. Disc golf is everywhere here (Anchorage/Matsu Valley area) and some courses are very private and secluded. I can't get enough of playing it. Forrest courses can be extremely frustrating as well as rewarding. Glad to see it's getting some love.

I've been dying to play again. It's been 10+ years but when I was living in Nashville I lived within about :15min of 2 great courses and me and my roommate would play at least 3x week during the summer. I was always able to hold my own with most of the regulars at our course and thought i was pretty good until I played in a state tournament and finished in the bottom 1/3rd or so.

Proud to call Feldberg and Wysocki teammates under Latitude 64's (disc manufacturer) sponsorship umbrella. This is the fourth time this year a disc golf ace has made Sportscenter. The sport is gaining in exposure by leaps and bounds.
