I never thought of that but it makes some degree of sense. Green's a great color though, I hope more leagues don't outlaw it and at least allow for green/X kits. Poor Norwich, Betis, Celtic, Palmeiras, anyone else??

This is the same thinking that brought us the glowing puck. Get better at watching, people.

EDIT: I can't imagine anyone coming for Celtic or Lisbon, but there would be hell to pay.

Interestingly, for the first 30 or so years of Palace’s existence they played in the same kit as Burnley, Villa and West Ham.

Since I don’t see a thread for this over in the Olympic forum…digging these table tennis kits for Japan.

The Las Vegas Lights will wear these beautiful monstrosities to promote organ donation.

Are they trying to drum up an organ supply by causing instant death to any who view the things? Good lord.

It'll be fine, there's a limit to how actually bad a simple white jersey can be and this will at least be above the floor. I don't like plain whites for the US when we do them though, seems to too timid to me given our potential colorways.

I'm sure I've said it before and I'll say it again--the white/red hoops shirt and the red shirt/blue sash shirt are 2 of my favorite shirts of all time. Those are distinctive, high quality designs. I would do anything to make either of those part of the official strip for 20 years and cement a design template.

White/red hoops was amazing, esp atop blue shorts.
All of the sash series were also great/ Red/blue, blue/white, white/light gray.
But I also love plain white (Centennial is epic).

In full agreement.

I don't love the plain white because the all-white strip because it became popular in the late 90s when England was doing it too, and while I think it's absolutely reasonable and sensible for the US to copy Brits in some matters of football, the NT kit is decidedly NOT one of them. That said, the white shirt, blue shorts, white socks strip is classy. I just don't like the all white.

WRT the hoops shirt, I actually don't love it on blue shorts because then it becomes reminiscent of Atleti. But if that's the bargain I have to make to get the hoops, I'm in ;-)

I feel like their current white kit is the best one that they’ve had in a while. Simple, classic, timelesss look.

That leaked kit looks like it could be literally any country’s home kit, they just so happened to slap a USMNT badge on the front of that one.

This is my biggest beef with the leaked look. This is a WC year jersey. All the designers should be bringing their best, most distinctive look to table. They’ve had 4 years to build up to this, and we get a MLS-level shirt? C’mon now.

The gray waves seem to me like they should be one of the other US flag colors but a designer turned off the paint bucket layer in their Photoshop file or something.

My first thought was honestly that it would be a line of blow or a needle, so this doesn't seem so bad in comparison! So sad that drugs and moral deficiency are such a big part of his legacy. Nevertheless, that mockup isn't great either.

I'm coming up with a few new World Cup concepts that Clean Sheet Co. will create over the next couple months. The first is simple. May not be a kit, exactly, but it's a variation on that theme.

The equation is basically: cold weather + holiday season + World Cup + I miss the Waldo kit
Where I ended up: the USA Sweater. A holiday sweater / Waldo hybrid. The "Waliday" sweater, if you will.

This will be a pre-order campaign starting relatively soon. Not quite ready yet, but I'll circle back with details (and a discount code) in case anyone here is interested. As always, I appreciate any feedback. If this works out, I could see a second US sweater (got some navy ideas) and maybe even a Canada sweater getting into the mix too.

I was thinking about you @dirtynine and your WC project just earlier today! I can't believe this is going to be at least your third (!!!) iteration of this project. I can't wait to see the new lineup!!

Assuming their Qataris haven't already conspired to get their fellow Gulf State friends into the competition this June, please ensure the Peru sweater has a sash.

Hell yeah. Put one on and go from an Arena to a Berhalter instantly.
How’s the fit on the sweater? I’ll admit the pandemic plus chronic knee soreness has me more Arena than Berhalter these days…

Don’t particularly love this specific jersey, but the basic elements suggest what the Fire can do with their new logo & colors…once adidas lets them change their kits. It’ll be back to the men in red.
