Just to add the Statcast numbers behind the comparisons being made:

Benintendi - 5 Star Catch in 2018:
- Opportunity time: 3.2 seconds
- Distance needed: 45 ft
- Catch probability: 21%

Verdugo - 4 Star Catch Yesterday:
- Opportunity time: 3 seconds
- Distance needed: 33 ft
- Catch probability: 50%

But to make sure absence is not making anyone's heart grow too fond, it's worth mentioning that Benintendi was -10 Outs Above Average (OAA) in his last full season (2019) and -19 OAA in his career.

The 2018 Benintendi catch is made even more impressive by how unlikely he was to make it.

Benintendi 5-Star Catches in Career:
- Outs: 3
- Opportunities: 80
- Percentage: 3.8%

Don’t need to say which is better (10D) just appreciate the similarities to the best Sox season ever.

And going forward I would take Verdugo over 10D every day of the week.

Definitely but I hope Beni gets his career back on track.
