I agree, but this play seemed remarkably ordinary. The degree of violence on that play wouldn’t have been out of place in any contact sport.

Commotio cordis is the phenomenon where a sudden blunt impact triggers a fatal arrythmia- I think that's what the Little League event was.

Definitely. It’s a weird one. Tua’s was such an obvious head trauma - where this felt like nothing. Is it possibly cardiac arrest?

They kept playing after Chuck Hughes had a heart attack on the field after a play in 71.
He died. Not sure when exactly, but players werent told til after the game.
