For those still interested in curling even though the Olympics are over, the round robin portion of men’s and women”s US National Championships begin today at 4:30.

The entire ever is schedule to be streamed on usacurl.org, although NBCSN may take over coverage of the playoffs. The schedule of games is up at Twelth End Sports Network (tesn.us).

Unfortunately, due to the resulting whirlwind media tour resulting from their amazing gold medal run at he Olympics, team Shuster has withdrawn and will not be playing in this year’s nationals.

Up north, the Canadian men’s national championship (The Brier) is also currently going on.

In an exciting game that went an extra end, Canada's Jones ran her record to 14-0 in the tournament and captured the Championship. The word is she is retiring after this which is unfortunate for Canadian curling.

Pretty remarkable last two shots, as Jones hogged her shot, then Hasselborg missed an attempt at picking out Canada's shot stone.
