Oklahoma is getting stomped. This opens the door even wider for 2 SEC teams to get into the CFP.
Assuming the Sooners lose (still a big assumption, although their defense has looked *really* bad today): if Alabama goes undefeated and LSU only loses to Bama - or vice versa - do both teams get into the playoff, even though the loser wouldn't have reached its conference championship game?

It's happened before. Alabama/LSU, Clemson, and Ohio State if the last 2 stay undefeated.

OU might very well win this game. Now only down 10 with 5:36 left.
Not dead yet, but did waste some time there, lost about 30 seconds when that QB draw was ruled down (he may have been in), but either way they should have gotten the next snap quicker

real question as to whether they can actually stop KSt 3 and out 2 times

UGh Oklahoma has no idea how to play from behind, guys don't know to get out of bounds rather than trying to get 5 more yards. Hurtz doesnt know enough to throw the ball away (just caught them a TO)

And Oklahoma recovers the Onside kick. and well into KSU territory.

This may be overturned, or may be ruled inconclisive

There goes the Sooners season, what a piss poor defensive effort to a 23.5 dog.

Once again the defense lets them down.

They don't deserve to be in the playoffs, will be interesting who the 4 end up being, there should be a 1 loss team in there, but it's not going to be Oklahoma and rightfully so.

The 4 teams in the playoff "should" be
SEC West #1
SEC West #2
SEC East #1
Highest ranked team between SEC East #2 and Clemson (aka SEC Northeast #1)

And I am not necessarily being SAE EAST #1 being deserving. If Florida runs the table, and loses a very close title game , maybe. But Georgia lost at home to South Carolina, and that's a bad loss.

Now admittedly in a different universe, USC might be the #1 team in the ACC Atlantic division and undefeated at this point (just saying there is a good chance they are better than any ACC team other than CLemson)

Obviously is OSU wins out they are in and they deserve to be, They pummeled a decent Wiscy team today

And of course these discussion presume both Bama, and LSU find a way to beat Auburn, and at this point, very much up in the air

And *of course* Auburn ends up with a field goal after burning that timeout.

This is nonsense, of course...but it would be kinda hilarious if the SEC implemented a four-team playoff to determine its conference champion, instead of just having the conference championship game. If you just gave the winner of that four-team playoff a bye into the CFP final, that would actually be the fairest way of determining the national champion at the moment.

Auburn are a bunch of chumps. Choke that drive away and now are about to give up a quick TD. The problem is, Bo Nix is a pretty lousy QB.

Auburn lost this game when they failed to score that TD after the 70 yard run. Huge squander that left them on their heels.
