I just can’t get over what an awful ruling that replay was. What’s the point of having review if you’re going to make up your own standards for review.
At least four calls against psu on that drive.. and that overturn and the spot were crazy
Edit: and was the TE not held on the second play from the one where they called holding on psu?
If you have an iPhone, just hold the letter down and the accent options pop up.
If you have an Android, switch to dermatology, earn some real money, and good a good phone.
I think those holds they called looked valid enough. I can’t tell whether they’re calling it equal. That overturn was just awful, which to be fair, I’ve babbled on about ad nauseum.
Like I always say when I show up looking fresh to department meetings - the urethra provides an endless stream of gold.
I do think the holds looked legit but as they say you can probably call holding every play.. and it’s just off that psu has been called about 5-0 in the time I’ve been watching

As someone who didn't go to PSU, the overturn on that TD would bug me more than anything.
I think that’s obviously a pass attempt, but If the official is consistent, he’ll overturn the incomplete pass call.
Iowa’s d looks worn out. Their offense hasn’t been able to stay on the field long enough

How can you tackle someone there? The receiver was basically going towards the ground
uhh not lead with your helmet? He wasnt having ill intention, but it is helmet to helmet on a defenseless receiver.
how? He can leap over the defender. I see the review with concern ball hit the ground on the catch
But really it is a great play
I mean.. he didn’t really use his helmet as a projectile and the defenseless receiver lowered his head..
And I realize I’m 100% biased
