Now that was a pretty blatant PI.

And Georgia with an AWFUl punt

Notre Dame, after losing this game tonight, is now 1-18 against opponents ranked in the Top 5 since 2000. As I have said before, they are the best of the rest.

I don't understand why the QB from Notre Dame rolled to the left instead of to the right on that last play. Instead of just running forward, where he had space, he spun his entire body around and rolled right into the pass rush.

Probably only saw 1 rusher and by spinning to the middle he thought could hit the entire field

The pass rush was on him pretty quickly
Fair enough. I don't watch a lot of college football, so I'm probably being too harsh on the kid. I just happened to come home and turn on the game, and I was just baffled that he did that. But it's definitely not fair of me to expect NFL level awareness in that spot, which is almost certainly the lens that I'm viewing this through.

Washington St went ahead 49-17 with 7 min left in the 3rd quarter. 7 min and 30 seconds later, and it is 49-46 with 14:30 to play in the 4th

UCLA has scored 29 in 4 min and 20 seconds

Glad I'm not the only one watching I just took a picture of the scoring drives from the Gameday app and sent it to my wife to explain what I was still doing up. She actually came out to see the last Wazoo score and then went back to bed. What a crazy and fun game.

Have outscored Washington St. 43-7 in the last 11:17 of gametime. Still 7:31 to play in the 4th, we might get 2-4 more scores

Gordon the Wash St QB has 8 TD passes and is losing

Just looked up the record
David Klingler Throws 11 Touchdown Passes in a Game

While it was against relatively weak competition in Eastern Washington, that does not take away from the fact that David Klingler threw 11 touchdown passes on Nov. 7, 1990.
The game was another rout in favor of the Cougars, as Houston came out on top, 84-21.
He was consistent throughout the game, and if he would have played the entire fourth quarter, he likely would have ended up with a few more touchdowns.
This is another record that Klingler will hold for years and years to come

Oh Chip.

UCLA passes on a 36 yard FG attempt to go for it on 4th down, rather than the tying FG. They fail to convert 4th and 7

Gotta think the game has passed him by. He's not doing anything new anymore

AND UCLA goes ahead 67-63.

(reminder UCLA scored exactly 14 in each of their first 3 games)

And a strip sack should end the game.

Wash St scored 63 points, AND turned the ball over 6 times
