Anyone see the story about the 4th grader that had a college day at his school, but didn't have a Tennessee shirt, so he drew a logo and pinned it to his shirt? He was (predictably) bullied. Well, UT found and an not only are the actually producing the shirt (which had more than 16000 preorders) and donating proceeds to anti-bullying charity, they offered the kid a full 4 year scholarship.

If we're assigning meaningless nicknames to these games, you've *got* to put respect on Iowa-Iowa State and refer to it by its proper name, El Assico.

Kind of ‘eh’ slate of games. A couple of interesting games but overall nothing to get too excited about.

Agreed. If Portland State at Boise is making its way onto ESPN2, it's a pretty lame card.

Still scoreless in Houston with Leach in town, a few minutes into the 2nd quarter. Air Raid reunion with Leach and Halgorson. I feel like Houston has the athletes here.

Harrisburg, Pa.
Pitt had it 1st and goal inside the 1, down 17-10 with 5 minutes left, threw it two of the three downs, never gained any yardage, and then missed the field goal.

Did everyone watching ND-NM get a somewhat crazy extended add of ND students going on local SWAT home raids to tell the police what technology is?

Epic drive by Minnesota. They converted a 3rd and 30 from their 10 yard line by dumping off a 22 yard pass and run and they converted the 4th and 8 and just scored with 13 seconds left.

Although there is currently a review.

Not really being a college football fan I'd forgotten that Herm Edwards coached there now. Man, fuck that guy.

Does the story mention if the boy gets a cut in sales? After all it is his design.

The story is uplifting nevertheless.

I’m normally all over the GFI on 4th and short in opponent territory, but under the circumstances, I’m surprised UK didn’t pin UF and their backup QB deep.
