Why do only some of the Pac 12 rivals meet the last week of the year? Cal/Stanford and UCLA/USC have already played (and usually the only time USC doesn't play this game last is in years where ND comes to the Coliseum).

I think your rankings are a week old.

Cincy/Memphis is huge. If Memphis wins, the two teams run it back in the conference championship. If Cincinnati wins, Navy gets a chance to steal the West with a win in Houston -- where they've never won -- on Saturday.

Large portion on the California school fanbase/donorbase is from the east, and goes "home" for TG.

My favorite thing from the NBC broadcast tonight was the standard starters announcement for players cut off the ‘university’ from ‘THE Ohio State’ BS for all players.

I'm enjoying some VATech-UVA sitting all alone at my office today. Tech then UVA then Tech again with 2nd half TDs. Tech up by 7.
I think that may have been the worst attempt at a game-tying/winning 4th quarter drive - by Virginia Tech - I've ever seen, pro or college. Kickoff returner stumbled and fell inside his own 20, then the Cavaliers got two sacks and then a sack-fumble recovery for the game-clinching TD.

Great win for Virginia, btw. 15-game losing streak against the Hokies about to be over - and they will play Clemson in the ACC title game next week. (And get killed, but still.)

right here
Was really hoping the streak would learn to drive but alas it wasn't meant to be. I thought when Tech finally took the lead it might get a little butt clench time but that was a nice answering drive. Still not 100% sure the pass at the end of the 3rd as a catch but that certainly wasn't the game. Bud's defense couldn't make that one big stop in the 4th.
Anyway, congrats Hoos. Perkins is a beast. Here's to order being restored next year. :)

Unless VA somehow knocks off Clemson or at least scares them plenty, the ACC is going to end up with no ranked teams other than the Tigers. Pretty embarrassing for a Power 5 conference.

As far as I have been taught, they are THE Ohio State University. You're doling out facts. Facts mean nothing.
Obviously the only solution is for an annual tournament amongst the entire system, where Columbus State could compete with the others for the title of The Ohio State University.

I see we are at an impasse. I wish you luck, sir.
Michigan really has no shot here, that fumble is pretty much ballgame...…..now and offsides on fourth down, now it's first and goal...…………..and TD...…..

DEFINATELY ballgame.

Best of luck to you in the playoffs.

Michigan is hopeless. You simply can't do that and win
Nope.

Stick a fork in them.

I have zero interest in the playoff this year for the first time ever; tOSU, Clemson for the 900th year in a row, LSU and TBD..………….

Nope, no dogs in that fight, not even remotely close to giving a shit about who wins.

So tired of hearing about a “Don Brown Defense” as if it’s something special. It’s undisciplined and always prone to giving up big plays.

That late hit was so dumb and Michigan is really doing a ton of horrendously dumb things. They are like the Browns.

Michigan handed a lot of touchdowns to tOSU. They are losing this game more than Ohio State is winning it.

Still, they are losing pretty hard right now.
