UGA-UF is obviously the game of the week, but your East Coast bias is showing — both one-loss Pac-12 teams are facing quality opponents on the road.
I agree both Fox games one after the other might easily be the best one two of the weekend. If Washington and USC win the Pac-12 will be wide open all the way down to UCLA.

Thank you. I don't understand why these ridiculous thread starts are tolerated.

edit - World's largest cocktail party. WOW, that's so clever. I am so impressed by inane brilliance.

Florida - Georgia in Jacksonville is actually "The World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party".... look it up!

Anyone claiming to be a college football fan should have attending this game on your sports bucket list and you should make a week of it... the party starts on Monday.

I was trying to figure out why Appalachian State was playing a split-squad match on Thursday. If you're going to use inside jokes and nicknames, at least be consistent.

Remember when it was a doozy? Man, I am enthralled by the brilliance, creativity, and wit. What would we do without these useless nicknames and sad editorializing? Obviously, it doesn't matter because it's easy enough to look at the college schedule on Cbs Sports.

But it is odd why the main SoSH thread for college football is led by sad lunacy and hackneyed nicknames. It's literally the definition of juvenile.

I like the cut of your jib.
Did you go to South Bend Community College?

No. I have no affinity for that school. I went to Lehigh. My wife did go to the Buckeye Academy in Columbus, Ohio, so I inherited them and root for them.

Buckeye Academy in Columbus. Get it? Ho Lee Fuk, I'm so funny. SO FUNNY. That really is humor.

Being a college football fan and having never heard of the Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party is like being a baseball fan and not knowing what the Bronx Bombers are.

Cinderella is on life support. Georgia Southern stifled App State with defense in the first half and has broken away with two long touchdown runs in the early minutes of the second half. Now up 24-7 in the 3rd quarter.

Also, I add my thanks to ConigliarosPotential... it's nice not needing to go look up a schedule elsewhere. Even if I sit here and decypher the puns of a 12-year-old it kills the ability to quickly see what's on tap for the week.

Epic choke by Harvard playing for a big upset at home against undefeated Dartmouth. Crimson had the ball and a 6-3 lead on the Dartmouth 8 after recovering a fumble with a couple minutes to go. Didn’t stick it in the end zone and didn’t even burn much clock when a Harvard RB ran o-o-b. Harvard turned the ball over on downs and Dartmouth took over on their own 4 with no time outs and exactly a minute to go.

Some middle-distance passes got Dartmouth to midfield with four seconds to go, and they heaved a Hail Mary to the end zone. Two Harvard DBs knocked each other out of the way, and the ball deflect to a Dartmouth WR for the miracle win.

Worse yet, the sixth-tier ESPN camera crew missed the entire last play... the middle high angle camera was literally misfocused on a patch of green nowhere near any of the players as the Hail Mary was answered.

7-0 Dartmouth vs. 7-0 Princeton next weekend at Yankee Stadium. Should be a great game.

Utah should have tried the game with Washington, but Official ruled te 2 point attempt as outside endzone. replay may it 90% clear he was in, but not no view to show as conclusive

Wait - they are saying the new rules protecting the WR caused the Safety to go for the pick?? I'm pretty sure he would have gone for the pick 20 years ago too

That third down play by Georgia was pretty nifty. Won them the game, although it would have been fun to watch an attempted late game drive by Fla.

True for 90% of them.

But there were some (was going to put names, but won't bother), who played the game like they'd rather kill the receiver than play the ball.

Looks like Utah will complete the comeback. Pac 10 could end up with a title game that has #6 against #7, both at 11-1, maybe even #5 and #6

The SEC is so overrated. It's pretty much LSU-Alabama and I think the defense for LSU will get torched, Burrows will keep them in the game next week. That Florida-UGA game was totally unimpressive, how the hell was UF 6th when they have one decent win? Auburn is completely overrated, but I'm sure they'll torch 6-6 Nebraska in a bowl game and Texas A&M is a joke. Those are the only good teams.
