WTF? Just line up and go for it if you’re not going to kick.
Exactly. What are the odds Tua completes a pass for 6+ yards? Like 65% on the season? You have to just line up and go for it. And if you're absolutely insistent on faking it, running your holder, with your kicker acting as a lead blocker into the teeth of the best defensive line in the country is probably not the best fake in the playbook to use.

It was obvious and the Clemson sideline picked up on the ‘tell’ before the play. Saban grabbed number 10 (holder) on his way out on to the field to tell him something.

The Bama DB covering him blew a tire.

I may get to go to bed early

edit: ouch that DB may have torn his ACL or achilles. That sucks for the kid

Yeah, I think the corner might have torn his achilles. Just terrible luck for 'bama there, because they got good pressure on Lawrence there.

Belichick and Saban have alternated seasons winning championships the past four years. So I wholeheartedly endorse the way this game is going.

Game really turned on that false start by Bama at the 2. Basically everything has unraveled since.

I take back what I said in the Dolphins thread - I’m now advocating for the Browns plan. Miami can feel free to ignore QB the next two years, tank and wait for this Lawrence kid lol

I think Lawrence goes 1 in this draft if he was eligible.
Not even a question. He might have gone #1 in last year's draft out of high school. He's that much of a prospect.

Ground caused that fumble, would have been exactly what 'Bama needed to have a chance.

Agreed. He’s making throws college QB’s just don’t make. That out for the 1st down, then the fade. Just pushes it to places pro’s have trouble with.
