I'm proud of Texas' performance so far. I think the Longhorns will be a force to be reckoned with in the Big 12 next year.
They have a good shot at Big 12 title with Murray and Grier gone. This is the program that needs to take the next step to help break up this Clemson/Bama matchup. State of Texas has so much talent. There is no reason why they shouldn’t be a force every year.

UCF only has one avenue to make it to the NCAA playoffs, in an 8 team situation.

They have to go undefeated. Florida, on the other hand, could get an at large bid, but the only that happens is if Florida has a good out of conference schedule.

You know what could be a good win for Florida in their out of conference schedule? UCF. You know what could be an irrelevant win to UCF because they have to beat everyone anyway? Florida. So yeah, there is an avenue in which UF needs UCF more than the other way around.
Only if UF has a good out of conference schedule??? What? How can...where...dahhhhhhhhh...you Sir, are the Grand High Poobah of SEC haters.

I think it would be a great idea to break all the UCF stuff out into a separate thread.

Georgia performance disappointing on every level. And they reportedly had a shitty week of practice. And if you're not up to this because you think you were shafted on the top 4, then don’t accept the bowl.

It's all about SEC-privilege. Why bother being motivated to play a Big-12 team? Such teams are clearly inferior.

I think they've been pretty overrated for the most part, but I still think they come back and make a game, if not win this outright.
Still think that? They laid down like...wait for it...dawgs after criticizing the Committee. Pretty funny, really. College bowl games are so random.

Texas probably needs at least another TD (prob 10 more points) to win this game
Yea , I keep thinking back to the win over OU when Texas started to play conservatively too early and let the Sooners back in the game, blowing a big lead and needing a late FG to win.

Just keep playing for the win.

Is the GA throwing no the game? I think I’ve watched about seven plays and five of them were him throwing the ten yards over his receivers’ heads. I thought he was good?

I've been pushing the 8 team playoff. Hoping UGA made it in instead of ND. etc. But wow they really are not acquitting themselves well. UT is dominating up and down.

Big 12 is such an enigma. WVU got smoked by Cuse. OU put up a second half fight vs Bama. But Now UT is owning the second best SEC team.

I thought about 8 teams too, but in the end, there really is no argument that the two best teams will be playing for all the marbles Monday night, I hope the game lives up to the hype.

Lots of pressure on Hermann in 2019. Horns fans will be expecting playoffs after this performance. Could be a stepping stone game like their 2005 Rose Bowl win over Michigan.
