That's a step down from Kiffin. There's got to be others with FL ties.
Not bad for the conference though.

I hate this thread. Until reading it, I didn't realize that Jeff Tedford had stepped down at Fresno State due to health reasons. That sucks. Both for him and his family and for the program.

Chad Morris goes from Arkansas HC to Auburn OC.
I'm not sure how to feel about this for Auburn. On the one hand, it's Gus hiring his old friend, who therefore might do nothing to adapt/change/expand Auburn's current offensive schemes. On the other hand, his results at Clemson as OC look impressive enough, although it's hard to gauge from casual Wiki reading how much credit he should get for changing their offensive approach.

Arkansas should beat Nevada, Charleston, and La.-Monroe. Let’s throw Ole Miss at home on the likely win list too. That’s 4.

They’ll get smoked by LSU, Bama, Auburn, and Notre Dame.

So they’ll need to go 2-2 in these 4 games:

@ Mississippi State
vs. Texas A&M
vs. Tennessee
@ Missouri

Could that happen? Sure. But if it does, it will be because the Razorbacks are quite a bit better than they were this season — they would have been more than a touchdown underdog in all four of those games this season.

Ark always plays Atm well a new coaching staff at @ miss st with them getting a new coach in mid jan is bad news Tenn is hit/miss Missouri the razorbacks new DC was Missouri coach last season bad coaching last year blew the SJSU and UK games and the year before should had beat Colo st and ole miss

Arkansas will never get back to 10-2 levels but they should be a mid tier 5-8 win program every year

As a Wazzu fan I never thought I'd say this: but see ya later Leach. Take your blaming of the players for your inability to win games and go somewhere else. He starts out as a cutesy folk hero with his funny press conferences and then he turns into a giant asshole.

I'm just excited to be able to see his team play more often. SEC West alone is going to be bananas.

I hope post-Leach life works out better for Washington State than it did Texas Tech. I'm sure his act can wear thin. Let's never forget his greatest asshole moment:

As the team's sports information director, he pestered papers from the Burlington Hawk Eye and the Des Moines Register to USA Today for coverage of Iowa Wesleyan football, and in fact succeeded in getting the college a few mentions. This attracted the attention of Iowa Wesleyan's actual public information officer, whose job it was to deal with the press. She was furios and asked President Prins to intervene. When challenged, Leach told her he believed that her office "couldn't get Iowa Wesleyan College into USA Today unless there was a mass murder."

(Great book, BTW. Strongly recommend.)
