Yeah, he looks done. I think they can hang on with the back up handing off to Sermon and PA though.

He led with the head but I think the angle would have meant a shoulder hit to Fields but Fields started to spin which meant that his helmet made first contact. That’s how I saw it anyway.
I thought so too but he can’t look down like that.

We're going to find out he has some sort of Bledsoe injury. It seems crazy to me he's back out there, he's a fucking unpaid kid. Protect him and get him truly checked out.

I don’t know the rule well enough, so help me out.... if he lowers his head like that but clearly only makes contact with his shoulder, is it still targeting? Or is the point of contact the key determinant?

It’s impressive but I dunno what the fuck Day is doing, you gotta check that out more than not at all. That doesn’t happen in the NFL, I would surmise, where they’re invested in their QBs long term.

I mean, props to Fields I guess. If I had tens of millions coming my way in a few months, I'd be a bit more cautious.

Agreed, he's got something going on internally, he's in pain with every movement, they need to get him out of there.

Fields is jacked up

Living in SC I hate Clem, but I'd rather watch Clem - Bama than a tOSU - Bama game if Fields is out

How good is Oklahoma’s offense when Trey Sermon couldn’t cut it for the Sooners?
OU recruits lots of good RBs, WRs, and QBs. It can get crowded. Just this past week, two of OU's quarterbacks entered the transfer portal. No doubt, they believe they should start somewhere but Rattler is blocking them.

Fields shouldn't be in there because he probably has internal bleeding and his kidney is ruptured, but also because he's so hurt that he can't run or pass.

Not sure I agree here, the kid clearly wants to play and was checked out in the tent.

Fields has the chops to be an NFL QB.
I dunno, it kind of feels like when a college baseball coach runs the pitch count up on a kid in the world series. The kid's obviously not going to beg out, so you have to be the adult and make the tough choice for him.
