The Habs were overwhelmed last night. I expect they'll be much more prepared for G2, but that one is still 60-40 in Tampa's favor. The league will ensure that the Habs win one at home. This is over in 5 or 6.

The Habs are trash and were clearly out to hurt Kuch last night.

If there was a draft of the players on both Tamp and Montreal, how many picks gl by before the first Canadian is selected? 10?

I thought about replying but I just couldn't take it seriously enough
Let’s see the list, then.

Point
Kicherov
Stamkos
Hedman
Vasilevsky
Suzuki
Weber
Serrgachev
McDonagh
Price

Maybe it was a bit of an exaggeration to say 10, but I don’t think it’s crazy to point out the talent disparity here.

Petry > McDonough
Caufield > sergachev

Your point is well taken of course, they are the more talented team. I just found it funny

Yes, I'd love to see them win it in Montreal.

Montreal losing at home to a tropical US team the day after Independence Day would be a real gut punch.

That is a delight. halfway there, boys.

That Coleman goal brought back some bad memories of last year. I had to do a double take and see if the Islanders were playing with a goal that lucky happening.

Really hoping Tampa can put us all out of our misery quickly and end this with a 4 game sweep. Let’s just forget this final ever happened.
It's not a real final. They didn't even bother painting "Stanley Cup Playoffs" on the ice because even the nhl know it isn't a real playoffs.

They do have the logo on the jerseys!

Of course if the Habs lose tonight it's over, although needing to win 4 out 5 against this team looks seemingly impossible right now. Struggling to score against a super hot goalie is how series' end quickly. If they play like they did in game 2, they have a chance to pull out a win but no doubt it's extremely uphill at this point

HNiC kept stressing how loud it was in there for only 3500 fans, but every shot I see makes me convinced that they're packing them in tighter than that.
