Any tips on how to get tickets. Their website says 42 days before the game then they go on sale.

I would like to get tix earlier.

Thanks for any tips.

Getting standard tickets not easy to be honest. I ended up going hospitality level to have that security.

As discussed elsewhere be careful- games can be moved from their original time to another time slot, another day that weekend, or another weekend entirely, to satisfy TV or because of conflict with other competitions- and warning can only be a few weeks beforehand sometimes. Keep clear the Friday thru Monday if you can.

I went to England for a buddies trip in March 2020 to catch a few EPL games, and we were able to see Chelsea in the last game before the pandemic shut everything down. Compared to trying to get Liverpool tickets (the only 2 out of our group of 5 that went to that game had a $$$$ hospitality package), getting Chelsea tickets was relatively simple. Now, granted, this was almost three years ago, so the procedures might have changed, but here's what I remember:

We all needed to purchase memberships to the Chelsea fan club in order to purchase tickets (I think it was like $40 a piece). Tickets went on sale a little over a month before the game, I was up at 2 am ET in a queue to purchase them and was able to do so no problem, despite not having any Chelsea loyalty points. Having a fan membership also got you access to the Chelsea ticket exchange, where tickets for the game also popped up at various points throughout the following weeks.

Again, after COVID and with the new ownership, I don't know if anything is different now than it was in 2020, but like I said it really wasn't bad compared to the nightmare of trying to go to Anfield.

I don't think you need to stay somewhere particularly close. The stadium is a five minute walk from the Fulham Broadway tube station. Just ride the Underground, which is very easy to use. Or you could walk if your hotel isn't too far away - Stamford Bridge is a bit more than an hour's walk from Picadilly Circus, for example.

Going to do the Stamford Bridge stadium tour on the 14th of April at 10 or 11 am, my son is doing arrangements.

I thought someone had a contact for the tours ?

Starting to get excited about the trip.

Be prepared. You may be interviewed for a managerial role and/or have your finishing skills put to the test.

Seven Costanza had (note: past tense) contact. Having just been there for the tour (Thanks, SC!), it is pretty awesome. But SC's contact just got me in for free. The tour itself is standard and they run about every 15 minutes. Our guide was awesome; he started by asking each person on the tour where they were from -- he knew the local team and star player from seemingly every single place, from Denver to Tel Aviv. You'll get to see both locker rooms; the press conference room (photo op here); views from multiple spots in the stands, plus the sideline/bench area; and you'll get to walk out onto the pitch in two lines like the players do, while they play crowd noise over the PA. The only thing verboten is walking on the pitch.

Ah! Sorry @biollante. As SR mentions, my SiL's last day there was this past Tuesday. She had been there full time for the past 8 years in the Tours & Museum group. She got an unsolicited job offer that she couldn't refuse very shortly after I posted here helping SR out several weeks back.

Tour itself is exactly how SR laid it out. It's pretty neat. It'll be 20 bucks pp or thereabouts- that & the associated team museum are a good way to kill 90 minutes.

@Seven Costanza , No worries. I appreciate your previous posts.

I guess Fat Frank will guide them through the end of the year.

20/head is ok with me, 90 minutes is long, my attention span shorts out at 60 minutes, do they let you on the field at all ?

My son is arranging everything so it is really his trip which is great, means I go along for the ride.

Tour is probably 45 min tops? The club museum would take 30-45 min to go through as well.

You'll walk out of the tunnel from the locker rooms and get to stand on the sideline and in each technical area, but you can't walk on the actual pitch itself.

Well, the tour was about 45 minutes. It was worth doing. The distance between the sidelines and the stands is short. Not sure if there is even enough space for corner kicks really. Everything was smaller then I thought.
Saw a young fox on the pitch when we started the tour. There were 4 traps set up. They caught the fox without incident. Pretty amusing, I guess they have a problem with foxes at the stadium.
My son went to the game on Saturday and had a good time, although it was a rough outing.

Bumping this thread because I managed to get hospitality tickets for Chelsea's Boxing Day game from a friend who is a season ticket holder! I am incredibly excited - I don't know all the details yet, but I believe I get stadium access up to 3 hours before kick-off and it includes a 4 course meal, unlimited drinks, etc. I've been fortunate enough to attend a Champion's League game once before at Stamford Bridge but this will be an entirely different experience for me.

My main question is this, however: I also want to take the train up to Kenilworth Road to watch Chelsea's match against Luton Town on December 30th. @Dummy Hoy and @CodPiece XL you both mentioned you've had some experience there in the current weekly game thread, any ideas on the best way to get them? It seems common practice that tickets don't go on sale until the game is near and I do have some feelers out with some people already, but also figured I would ask here. Thanks in advance for any help you all may be able to give.

I’ve never been to Luton, I was more reminiscing about the horrific pitch they had in the old days. I knew someone who played on it once and he said it was the worst he ever played on.

No clue...I just know Kennilworth Road from years of watching lower league football from my couch.
There are plenty of guys around here who have discussed how to get PL tickets...worth starting a thread if you need help.
