Is there a way to change your user name? I just feel like my is unimaginative and I'd like something a little more memorable :q:

Any help would be great, thanks!

There are occasional fundraisers for the Jimmy Fund where one of the prizes is a name change. Allowing it in other ways would diminish the value of that prize. Are you saying you support childhood cancer and don't want it cured? Sicko.

People who switch usernames have deep-seated issues and are clearly compensating for a shortcoming, perceived or otherwise.

This thread hits close to home.  I mean, to just about anyone with a deep knowledge of Rosicrucianism and Kabbalah who has communed with even a mid-level Mayan god can easily decipher my user name.  Kind of lame, I know.  I should have gone with Mike "not the dictator of the Dominican Repubilc from 1930 - 1961" Trujillo.

Yeah, when your username sounds like a declaration of sexual preference or champions a crazy steroid user who forces his way out of town in a wake of acrimony, you sometimes think about changing your username.

I used to be gutzalpus2, and I paid good money to the Jimmy Fund to change mine.

Just wait for the next fund raiser.

Given how many would like a name change, couldn't we raise a mini Jimmy Fund fortune charging for it everyday? Say $25 or so.

Put the old name underneath the avatar for a year, so no one is overly confused.

I'm pretty sure the name change bidding went into the thousands of dollars during the last fundraiser, so $25 might be way way too low and a bit unfair for those who have put up huge money for the right to change their name.

It's a great way to raise money, so save up and bid more than me when the time comes!
