Tuning in late. Inter up a goal in Barca already - Martinez in minute 3. Conte has really drilled this team well - Barca with 70% possession and nothing cooking.
Can't say that enough. Inter are playing very well in a system right now. Playing in a deep block of 10 behind the ball, but ready to pounce and attack on the break - primarily through Sensi and Lautaro. It's like Mou never left. Except I like Conte a lot.

California. Duh.
Hwang with a great move and shot that Adrian had no chance of stopping pulls one back for Salzburg. 3-1 at the break.

What happens if RB Salzburg and RB Leipzig meet in the bracket? Shouldn't that be against some rule or something?

UEFA signed off on it. Money talks.

messi trying to turn this match on his own, which lord knows he can. I’d pull Suarez, who has done little other than theatrically flop around, for Dembele. At least Dembélé will take on defenders, maybe pull Inter out of shape a few times.

edit: but it looks like Vidal is coming in.

What a goal, after a bad non-advantage play no less.

Håland on now

Should be a corner - guy was a yard onside

That Suarez strike is about as classy a hit as you’ll ever see.

Inter trying to play it out from the back at their own peril. They have been pinned deep the entire second half and keep giving it away while outnumbered in the build up

Giving the refs the ability to card the bench is yet another stupid move. It adds nothing to the game and only wastes time and makes the refs look like the goofy authoritarians they are

Edit: lol opposite opinions at the same time

Well, that was more dramatic than I would have liked, but the 3 points are on the board.

Good for Jesse Marsch, it says a lot that his team kept their heads and came back like that at Anfield.

Welp, Messi still has god mode and Suarez is still a very good striker. VAMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOS.
Inter played it perfect in the first half, though they should have bagged another goal or two. Credit to Barca after halftime - they committed to counter-pressing and cutting off the quick outlets that carved them open in the first half. And then Suarez and Messi remind us what world class looks like...

Marsch bringing back the 4-4-2. Looking forward to their tilt with Napoli.

Anyone who plays Inter needs to focus on pressing the CBs. Godin had a rough night especially but they all looked uncomfortable and weren’t willing/able to hit diagonals out to Contes advanced wing backs. Once Barca put a press on Inter had no way out. It was just a bunch of panic passes to put someone else under pressure until it was turned over
