Kind of the worst week in a month
I got all excited to check out the slate and had the same reaction upon review lol!

Mizzou/aggy looking like the game of the week. Snore.

Although if you're up late, Tech/Zona will probably be entertaining.
Mrs. Zoso is from St. Louis and we agree that we don't like the city or state that much. But my FIL is a saint and he's a big Mizzou guy and I find myself rooting for them among the SEC bluebloods and blowhards (that's a helluva thread title for another year).

The only other game that I'd recommend is Michigan @Washington. Michigan is overrated at 10 and Washington's underlying stats reflect a good football team that's just gotten unlucky. Washington is much more balanced with both O and D ranked around 20th nationally in SP+, whereas Michigan's D is 5th but the O is 63rd [insert vomit emoji]. Michigan's ST are strong again this year and they'll need to be elite to keep this offense in tough games like Saturday's. What's even more discouraging is that Washington seems well coached, whereas Michigan's staff looks stodgy on offense, unwilling or unable to get a song out of an experienced albeit not very talented group. I will say the D is truly elite though and if the O can even keep the TOP close, the D/ST might be able to get them over the line.

All in all, should be a fun game that resembles last year's championship in no way, shape, or form other than the laundry (unless Don Edwards rips off some 50+ yard TDs again ;) ).

The thing will college football is even if the matchups aren't juicy, the sheer number of games means you know something is going to go sideways for someone.

Sure, but last week's Bama-UGA game was appointment TV for anyone who follows the sport. Top 10 matchups in the regular season, especially once those rankings actually mean something, are what the sport is about in large part. Of course I always have time and appreciation for a 20 point JMU win over UNC too. It's all so good TBH :drunk:

17 yo Williams on Bama with another spectacular catch and run for TD. 58 yards. He had 2 men on him against the sideline

You’d expect Vandy to sneak a win through if it were going to happen, but they’ve been the better team straight out today. Weird, exciting game

Yup. Tons of chunk plays on offense and have answered every challenge.
