There were multiple holds on Carter by both Tackles. I don’t even know if to be impressed that they knew they could get away with it or concerned they had to repeatedly hold him.
Yeah.. even the hands to the face penalty that went for PSU.. looked like the guy had to do it five times before he was finally called for it.

Oregon also got away with a two hand push by the receiver on their fourth down play the previous drive so I guess the refs just weren't going to call almost anything.. except for those huge calls in the first half that stalled a number of PSU drives. If they call holding on Oregon even once who knows how that effects one of their drives. They didn't seem to have a ton of trouble moving the ball when they needed to...so who knows.

That's probably right. Warren looked gassed at points in the 4th.
It's just my frustration with Franklin.. he goes away with what's working way too often and Warren has been under-used even with how much he's been used. He should've been allowed to have tried to run it in against OSU.. he was invisible in the second half tonight.. It's possible he was gassed or he just has a coach that doesn't know how to use him. To be fair to him though.. Allar and Warren were off on timing a few times in the second. Warren also had a few atypical drops.

Damn nice kick

horrible prevent defense
If "prevent defense" includes horseshit kick coverage; then, yes. Inexcusable to let a kick return get that far at that stage of the game; or not get the kick into the end zone; or both.
