No dog in this fight, but hate to see Syracuse jobbed by the refs.
It felt like Refs changed their approach after the half...but I'm biased

Dino's terrible clock mgmt, undisciplined penalties, and poor offensive play calling ALL in the 2nd half ultimately killed the Orange

Just happy to have a competitive football program again

The QB slide / defender issue has to be fixed. Defenders have no way to react to late slides.
It really does.

A QB could set up a late slide specifically to get a penalty.(this already happens, I would guess) You can't have a situation where a defender commits to a tackle and then the QB slides right into it, after the defender is in the air.

It is literally impossible for a defender to do anything to avoid that.

Texas probably will lose this game. Defense is so bad, and getting tired. 10 penalties already with 6 mins left in the 2nd. Inexcusable.

LSU is cornering the market on sons of NFL legends at other positions playing TE for them

Refs trying to be part of the game
Weak sauce unsportsmanlike conduct call on LSU

Just happened again.

QB slides late. Defender in the middle of committing, trying to get out of the way. Hits the QB. Barely. A glancing blow.

Flag. 15 yards. Just a problem for the defense, they can't do anything. And I have a wager on LSU. But that's a terrible call.

Texas probably loses 5 to end the season and misses a bowl again. At Kansas will be the most winnable game and Sark can’t win a true road game.
