Man that 20.5 spread on Clemson / BC.... Clemson has all of the signs of playing to the level of their opponents and DJ has zero chance of obliterating a defense on his own. If BC can even kind of handle Shipley then it'll be a 10 point game at best.

Wake's wide outs absolutely torched the Clemson secondary 2 weeks ago. Hartman threw 6 TD passes and had multiple OPI DPI calls on Clemson. If college OPI DPI was a spot foul, Wake would have won that game in regulation. I haven't followed BC closely this season but if they have any kind of speed on the outside and a QB who can get the ball anywhere near them then the game should be a lot closer than -20.5.

This is going to be one of the unanticipated and unenthusiastic Texas/OU games in years. Neither team ranked, or with a shot at a conference title with a loss. Neither seems to be able to play much defense.

They should leave the defenses at home and just have a track meet.

Does Alabama at -24 over Texas A&M suggest that the oddsmakers think Young's shoulder is okay, or would the spread be even higher had he not been injured? 24 points sounds like a lot if Young is limited or can't go -- in that case, they'll likely run the ball a lot I would think.

I would think it has as much to do with how bad aggy has looked on both sides of the ball this season so far. aggy’s QB problem is pretty serious; they won’t score much against that Tide defense, and if they couldn‘t stop the Pirate‘s offense, their day in Tuscaloosa could get quite ugly.

Thanks. I guess I didn't realize that A&M was having such a tough time on offense. Bama/A&M has been billed as the college game of the year, but maybe that was based on preseason expectations and the Saban-Fisher feud.

Jimbo Fisher now has the same record that Kevin Sumlin did at this stage in their respective aggy tenures. Jimbo is not the savior they were counting on in collie station.

Zay will be a first rounder .... If you don't watch the whole thing (less than 2 minutes) make sure you watch the second highlight catch.

Ole Miss’s Deuce McAllister is covering the Miss State Arkansas game. I’m really hoping for some good Miss State insults but doubtful we’ll get them

Very interested in ND/BYU Saturday night. I know the playoff hopes for ND died with the Marshall loss, but I think it’s critical for Freeman’s recruiting credibility and overall status to salvage a good season. Beating a ranked BYU would be a good start. With Clemson and USC both also on the remaining schedule, they’ve got a chance to claw their way back to a top 10-ish position, and maybe get a NYD bowl game.

A&M had the best recruiting class in the country last year. Give Jimbo a few more years; they won’t be a top-5 program, but they’ll be perennially ranked like they were in the ‘90s.

I watched BC play the Noles. Their offense is terrible. They could lose by 20 easy. I got nothing against this team one way or the other and I would prefer them to be decent than bad.

Nebraska wins on the road at Rutgers. Ends the 10 game losing streak in one possession games. Last win was at Rutgers two years ago. 1st Place in the Big Ten West.

Rob Riggle. Wonderful corporate synergy, given he co-hosts Holey Moley on ABC with Joe Tessitore.

Man do I love Gameday though. Going to where they're filming is an experience beyond words, it's an out-of-body experience and honestly my Mecca. I get Corso's well past his prime but I feel like the show misses something without him, as like the patriarchal, grandfatherly figure, with Herby as his trusted son. A not so fast my friend and the mascot head remind me through the business, NIL, that this is a game. And we can have crazy fun with its silliness.
