I actually thought they had a really good game. FYI I went back and watched the tape for this review and it was 1 minute 40 from when the Referee announced "The previous play is under further review" to when he started the announcement for the overturn. In that time he's gotta run across the field to the replay equipment (and run back). Then there's the time that any overturn takes even after the decision is made. (Okay what should the right time be, oh shit we've got to move the football, what was the previous spot again? etc.)
They probably took an extra 15 seconds or so to look through every single angle (Looks like there were 11 camera feeds replay had access to) just because the ballgame hung in the balance which I think is reasonable.
Agreed on your last paragraph. I thought the terrible review was the last West Virginia touchdown. That replay took forever and I thought it was pretty clear it was a touchdown catch.

ODU was such a big winner in the realignment. Swapping out MTSU, UTEP, LT for JMU, Coastal, Appy ... it's just such a better fit. And their non con schedule this year is just about perfect. VT, UVA, ECU, Liberty. I know there's a lot of energy around the program. Hope tonight is a good one.

I feel for the kid, I just never understand teams playing for the Long FG. Sure when you took over at the 30 yardline or so , getting a long FG looks good.
But once you quickly move through the defense and get yourself to the opponent 30 with over a minute to play. Keep attacking. Don't sit there and think this is good enough
