Throwing a pick on your side of the field just before halftime on third and 18 where it is short of the sticks anyway turned out suboptimal.

I hate Georgia. We were a muffed punt away from a natty back in the ‘84 Cotton Bowl. Those fuckers from Athens got lucky and won 10-9 otherwise the course of Texas football would have been changed forever.

Congrats TCU, you can always fondly remember that possession where you held them to a field goal.

Because Michigan choked
I agree but I think they would have also gotten killed by Georgia tonight. Ohio St played their best game of the season in the semifinals and they have the WRs to exploit some of Georgia’s weaknesses. Michigan really doesn’t. Their strengths play into Georgia’s game pretty well. It would have been a better game though.

This is just men vs boys here in every way. This is what you get, I suppose, when you have a playoff and can't just choose the championship matchup like the old days.

Ohio St gave Georgia a game because they were one of maybe 2-3 teams in the country with the athletes and speed to match the Dawgs. This is men against boys.

Can someone explain to me why the two semifinals were so close but the final is a blowout?
B1G was 3 deep, SEC was 11 deep

tOSU Georgia was like the final and the Mr matchup was 3v10

Long layoff hurt GA in the semi

Ugh. Over. Wish there was a better way to generate a competitive matchup.
4 teams in the playoff should be the SEC West winner, SEC East winner, best at large SEC team non-division winner, and the best ranked team amongst OSU, Clemson and the rest of the SEC 4-14.

This game left the what if's and what could've's of the prior games in a very long distance in the rear view mirror. My take is that TCU looked tired and worn out after about the 7 minute mark. No speed, which they had plenty of. No aggressiveness, which they needed, and NO DEFENSE. Oh. And Georgia.

Georgia going to keep running up the score or will they actually start running the ball/ playing seniors, etc? Clearly if they pass they will score…

Wait until they expand the playoff to 8 teams.

Take the NFL for example; they expanded the playoffs to 7 teams in each conference and now as fans we're treated to the 9-8 Dolphins and Seahawks getting in.

You just can't buy that kind of excitement.

Well, Sunday’s game seemed exciting for Pats fans. At least the concept of it.
