I cam looking for a line as there was a game that I circled as of about 3:00 last Saturday. Illinios is not very good, but they won at Happy Valley last week in 9 ot's. They are at home against Rutgers who is coming off a bye in noon game. I have rarely missed a line prediction by this much. I thought Illinois would be a touchdown favorite against a Rutgers side that is winless in the B10. I thought Rugers was going to be a great bet, and a moneyline team. Just checked the spread and it is essentially a pick. Illinois, who stinks, is coming off a once every five years win, in 9OT's against a big name opponent and now come home to play at noon, against a team they wont respect who is well rested off a bye. This has an Illinois stinkbomb written all over it.

Texas/Baylor makes me extremely nervous. Sark’s debut season is hardly making headlines and if we drop to 4-4, most of the goodwill built up prior to the season will be gone and recruiting is likely to fall off a cliff. Plus it’s the damn 11:00 kickoff, which I hate hate hate. Nothing like having to be in Waco at 11:00 on a Saturday.

Is there any good time to be in Waco?

Don't be nervous - no way Texas wins. They will have to beat K State in the last game to be bowl eligible, which I'm doubting happens.

Possible, but I'll be very surprised. It's not a good Wisconsin team.
Wisconsin is kind of hard to judge. Their three losses are to Michigan, Penn St, and Notre Dame (all ranked in the top 20, combined record 18-3). Their defense is great (2nd in Yds/game and similarly near the top in the advanced metrics). But the offense has been pretty bad. Turnovers have been a big problem (averaging 2.4/game), Mertz has been kind of a bust this year after coming in with a lot of hype, and the power running game (normally Wisconsin's bread and butter) has been inconsistent. If they can stop turning the ball over on offense and get the running game going they will be hard to beat, even if Mertz doesn't do much.

Wisconsin -3 is massive disrespect to Iowa though.

Wow Michigan 94 yard TD. Sparty was rolling opening drive, got picked on the 1 on a deep ball and boom 7-0 go blue.

Think it is a fumble but not enough evidence to be sure. Would have felt terrible for that kid if called a fumble

So they go with the call on the field on the earlier TD run where it looked like he fumbled, then they go against the call on the field on another fumble.

What a load of crap.

Twice.
