According to Wikipedia Saturday is a big day in Texas and SEC history:

"Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium is an American football stadium in Fayetteville, Arkansas[7] and serves as the home field of the University of Arkansas Razorbacks football team since its opening in 1938. The stadium was formerly known as Razorback Stadium since 1941 before being renamed in 2001 in honor of Donald W. Reynolds, an American businessman and philanthropist. The playing field in the stadium is named the Frank Broyles Field, honoring former Arkansas head football coach and athletic director Frank Broyles.[8] On September 11, 2021, Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium became the birth place of The University of Texas Longhorns reign over the Southeastern Conference."
Welcome to the SEC Mr. Wikipedia writer.

Why didn’t the Toledo guy go down at the one when it was 22-24?

take some more time off
Probably didn't think of it. Though also, it's not the NFL, a physical underdog like Toledo can't have the same level of faith in the ability to get a TD from the 1 and College kicking is.... rough. Probably better to give a team more time than chance it.

This brightens up my trip down to Texas on Monday a bit. Would only have been better of Colorado held off A&M as there's more Aggies than Longhorns at my company.

Harrisburg, Pa.
So should Sarkisian.
Offensive line. If he gets one, he might win. Until then, crickets. Arkansas brought the house then resized a 3 man rush was enough. That killed all the drives and wore out the defense. Texas’ line is the worst I can remember. It was an issue against ULL but figured Arkansas defense was equal to them. I was wrong, it was quicker and more athletic by far.

Los Angeles
can Helton be fired on the tarmac after this shellacking?
They were playing at the Coliseum...but I love the idea that they might make him drive to LAX so they can fire him there.

I think I've mentioned this before, but I have a complicated relationship with the USC football team. I have a degree from there and work there; I've taught my share of players over the years , and even more of the students who commit to doing work around gamedays (managers, band members, people on the various spirit squads, etc)...so on one level, I want them to do well. So I'm happy when they do.

But on another hand, so many people around campus and in the extended "Trojan family" (barf) are just way too fixated on the team, and care way more about how they do than what happens with the rest of the university (which, uh, has had some problems these last few years). So I also get a little gleeful charge when the team loses...and especially on nights like this, when it's an embarrassment. Kind of a win/win situation.

I'm not really into college football, so I'm almost never around these parts -- and, clearly, I'm a bad fan (or a bad hater/anti-fan), so it's for the best. But I had this on in the background tonight and wanted to comment.

That was the second worst defense I have ever seen at the end of a game.

GTFB.
What are the choices? The Pats vs the Dolphins in 2018 has to be right up there. Umiami vs BC on the Flutie pass. What are your nominees?

This one is right up there. #3 was in perfect position to wrap the guy up if he caught it, game over. If somehow feel you can't make the tackle, interfere w/him, only 15 yards in college.

Jets Raiders last year. I was on the wrong side of both but I will not let it break my spirit
