Watch out for Florida Atlantic giving the Gators all they can handle. I expect either FAU or South Florida to be in a one-score game in the 4Q against Florida with the Alabama game in W3.

I have no idea what to expect. The running game shows promise, the defense too. Terrified of the passing game.
Defense should be pretty salty. Lots of size, speed, and experience. Bijan and Roschon should be deadly as long as the OL can open up some lanes. Not as worried about the passing game as you. Sark won’t ask Card or Thompson to step out of their comfort zone in game one. I expect we will throw a pick or two but overall I think we are in good shape for this one. (He says with the boundless optimism of a true homer.)

Big ND fan. Very excited for the opener Sunday night. Think the Irish match up well, but that will be a very emotional, fired up crowd in Tallahassee, particularly with the recent passing of Bobby Bowden, and whatever tributes/ceremonies are going to happen. And FSU will absolutely have some athletes that can cause trouble. Very much interested in seeing how well Coan picks up and manages the offense. Irish have good weapons on the outside, a stud TE in Mayer, and excellent RB depth. But a young, inexperienced O-line. Some new faces in the front 7 on D, but what should be a good, experienced, athletic secondary. Cautiously optimistic, but also a little wary of an early stumble. But can't wait to watch. Love the start of CFB.

Those ESPN.com rankings from AP aren't updated from end of last year, it seems. UCLA should be ranked. Cincy, UNC, others, too high.

I'm not sure that I'm following -- where do you see UCLA ranked?

Some tv preview show talking about LSU-UCLA matchup, ironically I think it was on ESPN, had LSU lower too, also in the 20's. Those that ESPN.com are using are from August 15th. There should be an August 29 or 30th one, taking into account week zero. (Although shouldn't matter for anyone other than maybe Fresno and UCLA)

That one is definitely PI. And now an OSU pick with a long return that’s wiped out by a roughing the passer.
OSU seems undisciplined.

note: I hate that PI’s aren’t placed at the spot of the foul.

note2: this Ibrahim kid is good at finding daylight.

Both OLs have played well so far. I looked at Faalele and Munford or Munson or whoever this summer.

Stroud doesn’t impress me.

Also,

Dear teams playing Ohio State,

You need to defend deep crossing routes. They made Haskins look good.
