Bruins take on the Stanley Cup runner up (LOL) at TD Garden Sunday night at 7:00. First time these two teams have met in more than 21 months. Hope the B's have their legs after having played this afternoon.

(Doesn't it seem like the B's always play the Canadiens in the second game of games played on consecutive days?)

Didn’t the Canadiens play last night? I believe their turnaround is even shorter. FWIW.

None of that on Hall behind the net was a penalty? Let's keep that the standard for the game then...

Bruins are playing like they all had a three Bloody Mary Brunch. Do they not realize that they have not seen the Habs in almost two years? That the Habs suck and the fan base is electric in anticipation? Whatever one may think of Butch and co. they are not translating the importance here. As a long time B's fan I am disappointed. I was looking forward to this game.

I don’t think they’re playing that poorly at all. They’re down 1-0 because Clifton made a bad pinch and gave up a 3 on 1 the other way.

They are certainly playing better in the second period. In the first they were outshot and their 2 PP's sucked and they looked asleep. Lets see if they can keep it up. I certainly hope so.

Come on Brick, that wasn’t a bad decision to go for the hit there. That was bad puck luck.
He separated him from the puck, too. It’s not like the guy kept possession and walked in. Perfectly fine play, IMHO.

Watching Forbort hurts my soul - but not as much as the thought that they're saddling McAvoy with him.

Zboril doing what young D do - the play on the McAvoy goal was great, the attempted decapitation of Anderson right after changing onto the ice was not.

Everyone was back and in position when the shot happened. It was a save that hit the back of a defenseman’s skate and went right in the net. Fluky goal if there ever was one.

Yeah, but zone entry with possession doesn't happen if Zboril just keeps Anderson to the outside and forces the dump in. Micro-mistakes like that happen a million times a game, just stood out more because of what immediately followed.
