I wish I had the capacity to follow another league, because I love the Bundesliga- most fun league to watch in terms of pace and style and atmosphere.
I really just wanted to mention how cool the scenes were in Hamburg at the Millerntor as St. Pauli (the only non-Sheffield club I own a shirt of) made their return to the top flight. Sucks they lost Hürzeler, but hopefully they have enough to stick around so I can watch some of their games.
Leverkusen started their title defense with a 3-2 win, and of course they did what they do which is scoring the winner in the 90 +11.
Vincent Kompany got off to a rough start going down 2-1at Wolfsburg with the internet mocking, but Bayern rallied for a 3-2 win.
Freiburg beating Stuttgart (who came in 2nd last year) 3-1 was probably the shock of the round.
