Bulging Disk

I built a computer about five years ago with the help of this sub. I installed a 128 GB SSD and a 3 TB HDD. The goal was to run the operating system off the SSD and save stuff on the HDD. After a few years, the 128 GB SSD was full, even though we were saving the majority of our stuff on the HDD. I would go in and delete some files every now and then to make it operate.

Finally, I figured I would just buy a 250 GB SSD, and I cloned the 128 GB SSD. Within a year or so, that has filled up with space as well. I can't find the files that are taking up this space. My wife, who mainly uses the computer, claims she doesn't save stuff to the desktop or the SSD. I don't know why it keeps filling up with crap.

Is there something I forgot to do when I was building this computer? Is there any way to set it so files are not being downloaded to the SSD? Am I better off just buying a 500 GB SSD? Any help would be appreciated.

Go here.
Install TreeSizeFree and examine your SSD drive and figure out which directories and files are taking up all the extra space. You either have programs that are defaulting to saving everything onto the boot drive or are installing crapware that's doing the same thing. What OS are you running ?

Thanks, Coup. I may not get to this until tomorrow, but I'll let you know how it goes. Win 7.

Looks like I have about 150 GB of temp files. Here are the screen shots. What is causing all of those temp files?
