Load management baby!
In all seriousness it sounds like they’re correctly taking the big picture view. His groin will be a problem and no need to push it if he doesn’t feel great.

Sucks to have Bergeron out but I am curious to see how Krejci (who has been playing well lately, at least to my eyes) does with Marchand and Pastrnak. Also good to have Heinen back with Coyle.

Any points out of this one would be great, 2 would help me forget the DET and FLA games.

I think part of our problem so far has been the B's playing down to the level of their opponent. This game it seems like they're playing up. Both teams have been physical and genrally coordinated, but also have capitalized on mistakes. I'm not disappointed with too much so far. Goal against was a double deflection.

I agree. WAS got a ton of shots on goal, but I feel like the B's matched them well and got the better looks. Pretty happy with that effort especially after a game last night.

Was going to say that I generally like Grz's game (he's been shaky tonight though) but the falloff from Krug to him is stark on the PP.
All his passes are just slightly off to disrupt the flow and the other team sags off him. He doesn’t have a shot they respect.

I like Grz a lot but he’s not even close to the same league as Krug.

He’s not a lefty, but I’d like to see McAvoy get some run on the top PP. Seeing what he can do in that spot impacts the decision making in re-signing Krug.
